Dingleigh of Sassafras

Some projects make our job easy, and Dingleigh was absolutely one of those. Starting with great clients who were open and willing to work together to build something great, and adding in an absolutely beautiful space to capture, write about, and craft a web presence for meant this project came together without a hiccup.

We started this project by immersing ourselves in the cottage and property, documenting every aspect of the stay as a guest. With this information we were able to workshop the experience with owners Jeaniene and Pete, highlighting the key features and any adjustments to make this accommodation everything they wanted it to be. During out stay we were also able to capture the photography and inspiration for the website and copywriting.

With its strong identity we were easily able to land on a simple brand which resonated with the owners and the space: a hand-drawn deer for those which frequent the property and already featured in the decor of the cottage. From there the website was built out on Squarespace for its ease of use after handover, and here the imagery and textures from the cottage really shaped the visuals.
